NOTICE TO
                                                            GENESEE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

Applications for deferment of summer taxes are now available at the Genesee Township Hall, 7244 N Genesee Road,
Genesee, Michigan 48437, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The last day to file the applications is September 15.  It must be filed each year the taxpayer wishes to defer his or her
taxes until February 15 without penalty or interest.

Taxpayers qualify for deferment under the following two (2) categories:

    1.  Taxpayer  certifies that his household income for the preceding calendar year did
    not exceed $37,500.00 and qualifies for deferment under one of the following
    classifications as defined under Chapter 9 of Act No 281 of the Public Acts of 1967.

            {  Senior Citizens (65 of older)
            }  Paraplegic, Quadriplegic
            {  Eligible Serviceman, Eligible Veteran or Eligible Widow
            }  Blind Person
            {  Totally and permanently disabled

    2.  Taxpayer owns property classified as agricultural real property, and the gross receipts
    of agricultural or horticultural operations in the previous year (or the average gross receipts
    for such operations in the previous three years) is not less than the taxpayer's household
    income for the preceding calendar year.
