| The Charter Township of Genesee was established on March 6, 1838 and encompasses twenty-eight and 1/2 (28 1/2) miles in Genesee County, Michigan. We are bordered by the City of Flint, City of Burton, City of Mt Morris, Mt Morris Township, Richfield Township and Vienna Township. As of the 2000 Census the population was 24,125 residents. Located within the twenty eight and 1/2 miles (28 1/2) are some of the best family entertainment spots such as: Huckleberry Railroad, Crossroads Village, Johnson Memorial Library, Mott Lake, Stepping Stones Falls and BlueBell Beach, just to name a few. The Township Government business is conducted by an elected seven person Board which includes the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees. Steven D. Fuhr, Supervisor Wayne G. | GARAGE OR YARD SALES Not more than three (3) garage or yard sales shall be conducted by a household of the Township during a calendar year. Said garage or yard sale shall not exceed three (3) days duration. Temporary signs for the sale shall be removed at the end of the sale. |

| TO ANY OWNERS OF LAND SITUATED IN THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF GENESEE, GENESEE COUNTY, STATE OF MICHIGAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all noxious weeds growing and all dead grass and brush on any subdivided land or land along public streets or roads or improved streets, for a depth of 10 rods or the depth of the lots whichever is the lesser, within the Charter Township of Genesee, County of Genesee and State of Michigan, must be cut down on or before the 1st day of May, June, July, August, September and October 2012 to prevent such weeds from going to seed and prevent their re-growth, as the case may be, and to prevent such dead grass and brush from becoming a fire hazard. No person shall allow any weeds or grass to exceed ten inches in height.
